It's Friday again!!!!!

Where the week has gone I'm not sure but once again it's Friday... I'm headed to work shortly so I'm making this short.
Thursday was a day off and I was able to spend a few hours with Marcela. Thanks Duke! We had a good time, well at least Grandma did. We had lunch with Great-Grandma and Marcela was so good. She sat in her chair like a big girl and ate her lunch, I think the root beer was her favorite as Mom never lets her have soda. What's a Grandma for... That's right after years of making my kids be good, well mannered and healthy it's my turn to be the spoiler. I love it!!!
Anyway a good time was had by all. Mom was surprised at how Marcela has grown as she had'nt seen here in several months.
Not much else to report, except if I don't hurry I'll be late.

I'm baaaack!!!

Well, it's been a few days since my last post,yes I to have a life. Kind of... I just arrived home from work and decided I had better say something while I could still type. Had a great day today at work. Started the most fun ever birdhouse album with the new basic grey Koishi line. I think it is going to shape up to be super cute. If I do say so myself. I will post pics soon.
I have been enjoying the week. I am trying to get caught up on my craft stuff...So far the stuff is winning...But I'm not finished yet!!! Give me time, hopefully some day I'll be current. The problem is I think the projects breed when I'm sleeping. There seem to be so many. Just like with food, my eyes are too big!!!
Looking forward to a quiet evening dinner, and crocheting in front of the tube. Although I know they no longer have tubes in TV's.
Tomorrow another day off, so more crafting opportunities. So much fun stuff and so little time. Well until next time...

Friday Friday Friday

Yes, it's finally Friday! I'm not sure why Friday always seems so special. I guess it stems from the old days when I was still in school and Friday signaled the end of the school week. It was also date night or game as in football or basketball night. Now, it's I worked late so honey, can we pleeeze go out to eat night. Oh, how things change, but still stay the same. We went to our favorite quick dinner spot Puerto. As always the food is predictably good.
Work today was well, work. Our big half yearly or bargain basement sales starts tomorrow. I predict I am going to be busy tomorrow. Today wasn't Friday but Thursday as I have to work tomorrow which will make tomorrow Friday and Sunday Saturday and Monday Sunday...Did you get all of that?
Not much else for now...It's getting late and my peanut buster parfait is beginning to catch up with me. I'll sign off for now and write more on Saturday which will REALLY be FRIDAY!!!

Well it's Thursday! I have to comment on Kristie's facebook post. Have you ever noticed that Monday and Tuesday are followed by WTF? I love it and how true it can be...
I have sucessfully enjoyed my day off. My car did not leave the driveway. My house is clean kind-of and I spent the afternoon downstairs doing my thing...Having fun with paper and today ink. Lots of ink...I wish I had one day to really organize and another to have fun. For some reason I always end up working in the middle of a pile. You know a pile of extra paper, and the embellishments that go with it, also maybe a little ink or chalk not to mention the adhesive-s and all the assorted scraps of paper. Scraps of paper, what to do with them? I'm never sure, how about you? Do you keep them? Does keeping them require criteria? Must they be a certain size or shape? Color or pattern perhaps? WWYD? Anyway it was still a fun day and hey, you can't beat the view.
Now for the tech stuff. I posted 1 photo of the project I mentioned yesterday. I have more I just have to figure out what I'm doing. This is a start however. I also am going to learn how to change the wallpaper. I have friends who know ;) at least more than I do. Must I mention they are also much younger than I am. Oh well, the joys of youth. Well, I'm off to finish dinner. Chicken cordon bleu with fresh asparagus, tossed green and french bread. Oh, and don't forget the wine. Julia eat your heart out...

Seven months later

Well, here it is 7 months later and I'm just getting back to this blog thing...I need more instruction if there is such a thing in blogland. I'm such a mediocre computer person this doesn't come easy. I am determined and let's hope that counts for something.
Today was a good day. I actually did some quality work, at work and I'm happy with the results. You will have to wait for pics, maybe tomorrow. I'm hoping it will become a class. I had such fun with the Copic markers. I was such a skeptic but it only took a minute to make me a fan. I love the versatility and how they can make even the most challenged artist feel accomplished. I can't wait to start my own collection so I can use them at home too.
Well another random thought it's time to feed the dogs. It's bunco night and they must have their dinner before I leave or Tanner will stage a raid on the dog food closet. No kidding, he uses his teeth to pull stuff out of the closet. He than pulls the large plastic dog food container out into the middle of the floor, pops the lid off and has a feast!!! Who says old dogs can't teach themselves new tricks ;)
